Best Places for Lunch in Glasgow!

 If you are a foodie then the Glasgow’s West End is somewhere you MUST visit! There are so many amazing individually owned cafés, bars and restaurants. In this blog post I will delve into my favourite lunch spots which you should visit the next time you are near. 

Naked soup 

Located in Kersland Street, you will find Naked Soup. It is a small space with a few tables inside and out, and has the perfect cosy vibe for the winter months. Each day they sell different soups all with unique flavours! The soup can be sold alone or if you’re looking for an accompaniment try the focaccia or bagels which come with different fillings (I recommend the chicken one). In terms of price you can expect soup and a bagel to cost roughly £9. Although the soup is the main product, various cakes are sold (which are delicious) and drinks such as coffee, tea, hot chocolate or locally produced soft drinks are also on offer.  

On the evenings, Wednesdays through Sunday, Naked Soup turns into a cozy bar where you can enjoy various wines, beers and cocktails until late.

Eusebi Deli

On the corner of Park Road in Hillhead, you will find Eusebi’s Deli, an authentic Italian spot in Glasgow. Inside Eusebi’s you will be greeted by friendly staff who will show you to your table (reservations are a must), or will guide you to the deli if your looking for food to go. The interior is bright and modern whilst still maintaining the Italian authenticity with the kitchen, deli and bar being on show.

The cakes and sweet treats on offer are hard to beat and the food from the deli taste and smell amazing! They sell pastas, pizzas, sandwiches and various pastries meaning there is always something for anyone. Although you could find cheaper places to eat, food at Eusebi’s is definitely worth splashing out on.
